We were planning to do Winter camp, but we cannot do that at this time. So instead we will do a couple of day hikes over the weekend to get the boys out. These will just be out and back hikes since we cannot camp in campgrounds and we cannot have fires on the trails.

This first hike I think we will try and do something like this. follow this trail as far as we can and then come back. We would try and do at least 6 miles out and back so we can get some things signed off in some of the books of the younger scouts.

This hike will start at the Piedra Blanca trail head and we will hike down the Sespe River. There is an opportunity for everyone going to have a meal on the trail. We will go and make a day of it. 
If I can get enough adults signed up to go, and enough boys want to go, we can easily go out with multiple groups and perhaps do different hikes. We have been to Piedra Blanca a lot lately, so let's try something new.
