Happy Holidays Troop 128!

We need CANS! – like we need 700-800 canned food items to build our donation tree.

With about 50+ scouts in the troop, we need at least 20 cans from every scout or 30 cans
from each from enough scouts to build the tree. 
Ask your family, friends and neighbors this week to donate
some cans and bring them to the build and we will be good to go.

AND we need help to build the actual can tree downtown ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4.

PLEASE SIGN UP HERE SO WE KNOW WHO IS COMING TO HELP BUILD THE TREE ON DEC. 4.
We have now made a place on the troop calendar to sign up - or just come -
we need at least 6 scouts to get it built and decorated in less than one hour.

At this point – PLEASE JUST BRING ALL YOUR CANS
DIRECTLY TO THE CAN TREE BUILD AT FIGUEROA PLAZA. 
If you are not able to attend, please contact Janet Barron (805-340-5977) and
she will make arrangements to have you drop the cans off at our house or she can pick them up from you.  

We will not assume anyone needs a ride to the build site unless
they are signed up on the troop website here or
if you contact Mrs. Barron (cell phone below) to say your scout needs a ride.  
Otherwise you can just meet us AT THE CHECK IN TABLE in Figueroa Plaza at 4:00 pm
where we will be unloading the cans and finding out where our tree will actually be built in the plaza. 
If you come, you can see all the other cool Can Trees - pretty neat if you have never seen it.
If you have more cans to donate, please bring them that day.

Some of us are planning to grab pizza after the build on the
way to the scout meeting that same night. 
The regular scout meeting starts at 6 pm, but we should be done with the build about 5 pm or so.
