Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge Day
Meet in the boatyard to the left of the main entrance. The gate will be open.
Participants MUST print out and completely fill out the Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge Worksheet (http://usscouts.org/mb/worksheets/small-boat-sailing.pdf). The first part of the day will be for going over the worksheet, and the second half of the day will be for going out on the boats. If you don't do the pre-work of filling out the Worksheet, you may not be allowed to sail during the second part of the day.
Be sure to eat lunch before you come, bring a snack, water, sunscreen, a life jacket (if you'd like to bring your own; there will be life jackets there), a towel, warm dry clothes for after the boat activities, and swim trunks.
Also, be sure to get a blue card at the next meeting so you can bring them to the merit badge day.
This is a challenging but fun and cool merit badge, and the plan is for blue cards to get signed off that day.
